Unfortunately the tour guide was sick, so didn’t show up for the tour. That’s totally understandable, but I received no message informing me that this was the case before leaving to get to the meeting point. This meant we wasted a lot of time in the morning and had very little time to find and book another tour (not through guru walks). Some communication that the tour was not going to go ahead would have been better!
We can’t quite express what good value this tour was! It was absolutely excellent from start to finish and blended the history and architecture of Quito with authentic experiences (traditional dance, chocolate, candy and liquor tasting) which were all free of charge! Luis was an excellent guide, full of knowledge and his English was first-rate. Highly recommended!
