⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because it truly does not do the tour—or Diogo—justice. We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. While we usually prefer smaller tour groups so we can better interact with the guide and ask questions, Diogo did an excellent job engaging with everyone despite it being a larger group. We especially appreciated how open he was with activity suggestions and sharing helpful information about places all around the city. He also made sure to include breaks to try local food and really take in the scenery and attractions, which made the tour feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon, and it will definitely be one of the first things we do when we come back.
The tour we had with Mario was okay in general (probably ranked on the lower side amongst all walking tours I had in Europe). The tour routing was great, he was attentive and tried to be engaging. However, the content was in the dry side on history and went too long. We lost half of the group mid way but few of us stayed till the end. He spent a lot of the time on history and some unconfirmed rumors/bias on history. If you’re a history nerd, I’d recommend. If not, try another tour.
