We were inspired to start when Luana returned to Brazil after living in Ireland for a year and immersing herself in local life. During her time in Europe, she had the opportunity to travel and learn about many countries and cultures. On every trip, whenever she visited a new city, the first thing she sought out was a “free walking tour”. When she returned to Brazil and couldn't find one in Rio de Janeiro, our travel agency was born, in July 2013. With 11 years in the market, we continue to share our passion! Free Walker has evolved and grown since then. Today, we offer tours in Rio de Janeiro, Paraty, and Salvador. Vic es una guía muy competente, tiene un gran conocimiento de la ciudad de Río , muy entretenida, seguramente una persona con la cual es un placer conocer la ciudad y los lugares históricos y icónicos.
Este tour es muy interesante. Solo para aquellos que quieran adentrarse más en la cultura y la historia de Brasil, para conocimientos más superficiales vayan al tour gral del centro. En este se visita puntos turisticos contando historicamente porque lo son y otros puntos que no son tan frecuentados por turistas, con especial hincapie en la relacion con el trafico de esclavos. Tuvimos una muy buena experiencia nuevamente con el guia Fernando, que normalmente no da este tour pero tuvimos el privilegio de volver a aprender y conocer con él.
This was a great tour focused on the history and development of the downtown area. Clara was funny and interesting, and provided great insights into daily life and Brazilian societal structure as well! We really lucked out with this tour. Definitely recommend the tour and the guide. Big thanks for making this an amazing experience for us.
Excellent guide, has a very in depth knowledge about the city. I wish I can stay longer in the city to be in more tours.
