Imrahn is a gifted storyteller who skillfully weaves together the threads of Melaka’s glorious past to make history come alive. We’ve also booked an additional private tour of Malay village with him, so you can see we really got a lot out of this tour to want to do more. The earlier in your stay you do this tour, the better!

Really loved this early morning walking tour as locals are greeting the day, getting their kids off to school, getting coffee. While a 6:30am start seems early for a tour, it really beat the heat and made learning about Hoi An easy. Lots of good history, cultural info and excellent intro to city & surrounding area. Totally recommend!

Excellent & tasty food tour with guide Anh leading the way. Nice to have a bit of local history setting things up, as well as thorough explanations of food & ingredients. Super flexible with stops—if we saw something we wanted to try en route, we did! You’ll not go hungry! Recommend!
