I enjoyed my tour with Islam immensely. Not only is he a very knowledgeable, personable and respectful person, he also shows interest in other cultures. The tour was very informative and enlightening. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Islam is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We went inside the mosque with him and he shared a lot of information about the history of Islam and Egypt which was fascinating. He took us to the bazaar and gave us advice about not getting scammed as well as more history about the bazaar including showing us the famous cafe where Naguib Mahfouz sat to write his famous Cairo Trilogy. As we were flagging a bit, he bought us some delicious fresh falafel sandwiches and fresh orange juice which kept us going to the end of the tour. I highly recommend Islam as a guide who knows a lot about Egyptian life and is happy to tell you all about it, alongside the history.
