Islam - Tour Guide in Cairo

We had an incredible experience on the Islamic Old Cairo walking tour with Islam. Right from the start, he showed how accommodating he is - we were stuck in heavy traffic on our way to the meeting point, but Islam was incredibly patient and made us feel at home immediately. Islam is clearly an expert in his field; his knowledge of the history and architecture is profound. What truly set this tour apart was his excellent English, which was very clear and easy to understand. Beyond the history of the stunning mosques and the Old Town, he shared fascinating stories about daily life in Cairo and Egypt today. It gave us a much deeper, more authentic impression of the city. We were really happy that we have done this tour. Thank your very much Islam!!!

Islam is a very good guide. I have taken a fair number of paid and free tours and I would rate him 12/10. He is a very good speaker, very attentive- took photos of everyone and amazing one at that , kind and patient in this chaotic city of Cairo. Would definately recommend him! He also had a surprise for us in the end and do not want to spoil it for other travellers so will keep it a secret!

We had an amazing tour with Islam. He guided us through the top sites of Cairo, sharing a lot of useful, well presented and entertaining information about the places we visited, as well as curiosities about Egypt in general. He shared food suggestions with us as well, took us to shops in the bazars with very good and honest pricing and even bought us some tasty snacks at the end! Would totally reccommend!

We loved our time with Islam. He had a wide knowledge of the city’s history and found an entertaining way to transfer it. He was very polite and super friendly and super helpful. We would not hesitate to do another tour with him.
