Alex was a really good tour guide. He gave us many useful and interesting information and took us through many spots. We reccomend it!
Nice tour over all. Our tour guide was speaking fluently, he also had a microphone which really helped! I did not find the route that exciting (some stops were defenitely worth it, like the Elbphilarmonie) and some of the information were not very interesting, maye way too historical or they felt like super common things I could have learned whith a simple Google search.
Our tour was very nice! Theodore has a nice sarcastic humor which we enjoyed. He spoke loudly when we were in crowded places and he knew the answer to every question that was being asked. He also had a lot of recommendations to make for restaurants etc. We recommend the tour!
We had signed up for the German tour. We showed up and the guide informed us that the tour would be in English eventually because the English guide got Covid. We were not informed for that before reaching the meeting point, and that is unprofessional. We decided tho to stay. Starting, the guide announced to us that we should pay a minimum amount of 20 euros per person because she is a licensed guide. As fa as we know, free walking tours means you pay as you like, according to your satisfaction. To top all that, the size of the group was really big and we had to squeeze in the crowd with mask as she was not being loud enough. A total disappointment with huge unprofessionalism.
Nice tour, great English, nice slow tempo so anyone could follow what she was saying. The tour ended 15-20 minutes before scheduled which I did not love but overall I would recommend the tour. What I liked the most, was the quality of information about WW2 and I would definitely enjoy even more.
