Hello! I am a certified tour guide and I love to propose original itineraries to discover the city with new eyes. I was born in Cagliari, Sardinia, and there I earned my first degree in Literature with a specialization in History of Art. I moved to Bologna 15 years ago and took another degree at DAMS (Theater, Music and Multimedia Production). I love sport and wellness (I am also a personal trainer with a degree in sports science), I think the best way to face the days is to smile at life and take a nice walk! My tours are a mix of classic and unusual ranging from famous squares to lesser known but beautiful places. In the winter I work in Bologna and in the summer you find me in Cagliari. Vanessa gave us a very nice walk through Bologna! Admittedly, I'm not massively passionate about porticoes, but they are interesting to look at, and Vanessa knows her stuff about them. It was interesting to hear and see the history of how porticoes have changed throughout the years and how they influenced many of Bologna's landmarks.
Vanessa was very knowledgeable on the subject as well as on Bologna itself. Very friendly and professional. Even the kids, 3 en 6, liked the tour ( for the most part, got a bit tired at the end but that's just kids walking for more than an hour). I can highly recommend taking the tour with Vanessa!
