I’ve had wonderful experiences taking free walking tours through GuruWalk, Which this tour was offered Through. I would not recommend this particular tour, I think there are more interesting areas of Venice to explore. The tour could’ve used more interesting stops, more history integrated with the tour, and the guide was often very disparaging and negative about things we were looking at
Laura shared lots of good information And was very personable. It was sometimes a bit difficult to understand her because she spoke very fast. ( I am a native English speaker, she is Italian speaking English)
We waited 20 minutes for Frederick, but he never showed up. Apparently, he changed the time of the tour at the last minute and moved it back 15 minutes, but still he didn’t show up on time. Apparently he has a habit of being late. Very unreliable guide
