Purple Basque Tours is comprised of Johan and Susanne, who met in Bilbao four years ago and our love for the city and the Guggenheim Museum (especially) made us create these alternative tours. We keep the tours up to 8 people because we want you and us - mainly - to have fun and take the most out of it!
We live in Bilbao and we love it!!! That's why offering tours to people from all over the world who are open to explore the city in a non tourist way, is our passion!
We would love to show you "our" city the way "we see it" and introduce you to the Basque culture and history.

Susanne from Purple Basque Tours was a great story teller and her tour a fun introduction to Bilbao and some of its main sights. Susanne was engaging and adjusted to the different characters in our group.
Susanne had a lot of knowledge about the history of Bilbao. We liked the route and the sights we visited. Would recommend the tour through the newer city centre over the one in the old town.
