Purple Basque Tours is comprised of two people, Johan and Susanne, who met in Bilbao four years ago and their love for the city and especially the Guggenheim Museum made them create these alternative tours in English only.
We live in Bilbao and we love it!!! That's why offering tours to people from all over the world who are open to explore the city in a non tourist way, is our passion!
We would love to show you "our" city the way "we see it" and introduce you to the Basque culture and history.

Really, really excellent. Susanne is engaging, informative and friendly. She is able to give a sense of how the city has changed while explaining how it has affected the people who live here. Top marks and probably one of the best Guru walks we've done!
