Free walking tours in Guatapé

Astrid was so amazing! Her english was phenomenal and since she was born and raised in Guatapé, she taught us so much! It was the best tour we’ve done in Colombia! Do it for sure best 2 hours ever!

Our tour was in English and her grasp of the English language was fantastic. Beatrice gave us so much unexpected information.... I hadn't realised about the issues surrounding how the town transformed from a farming community into a local tourist hub as a result of all the farmers being displaced & disinherited buy the building of the dam that flooded their farms . . . YOU will LOVE this tour. Beatrice' grand fathers have lived experience of the transformation to tourism & loss if their traditional farming livelihoods. Beatrice was able to share their experiences!!
