We start our tour at the majestic Bundeshaus (The Federal Parliament Building), the heart of Swiss democracy. Here, you will learn about the history and significance of this building, which houses the Federal Assembly and Federal Council. Enjoy the stunning views of the Aare River and the Bernese chain of mountains from the terrace.
Our next stop is Bärenplatz, a lively and bustling square full of local life. Here, you can observe the city's hustle and bustle, learn about its historical and social significance, and enjoy the surrounding architecture and outdoor markets.
We will walk along the historic Marktgasse, one of Bern's most iconic streets. Along this street, you will discover charming shops, cafes, and historic buildings while immersing yourself in the city's medieval atmosphere.
We arrive at the intriguing Kindlifresserbrunnen, a fountain dating back to the 16th century, the most famous fountain of the city. You will learn about the legends and theories behind this peculiar statue, one of Bern's most curious landmarks
Our next stop is the iconic Zytglogge, Bern's medieval clock tower. Here, you will discover its fascinating history and watch the astronomical clock's spectacle, a marvel of 15th-century engineering.
We continue to the Berner Münster, the tallest Gothic cathedral in Switzerland. Admire its impressive architecture and learn the meaning of the figures outside of the main doors of the cathedral.
We will visit the Bärenpark, where you can see Bern's famous bears in a natural setting. Learn about the historical importance of bears to the city and enjoy this green space by the Aare River.
We will end our tour at the beautiful Rosengarten, a garden offering breathtaking panoramic views of Bern. Here, you can relax and enjoy the beauty of over 200 varieties of roses while taking in one of the city's best viewpoints.
