Juan did a fantastic job. He was great to work with, very knowledgeable and super friendly. Got to taste all kinds of fruits as well as coffee and cheese along with learning so much the market and Colombian food industry. Just a great experience

The tour itself was fine, didn't receive a lot of information but did try some new fruits. If you sign up for any of the tours run by "Cali Cultural Tours", know that it's one person running ALL the tours, so if you sign up and nobody else did, your tour might get canceled or you might be coerced to attend another tour (this happened to 4 other people on this tour along with myself, none of us did the original tour we booked). After this tour, I asked the guide which tours are going on tomorrow, and that I was wondering whether he was going to do the salsa tour or the street food tour. He said he did it today, to which I said that's not helpful because I obviously didn't go today. He said having WhatsApp is not helpful. Excuse me? Is that the way you talk to clients? After he said that, I immediately decided I would not go to any other tours he runs and I would never tell others to attend. (I don't have WhatsApp because I don't have a phone - but I don't have to explain myself. That's not how you talk to clients, period). There are better tours and better tourguides out there, Beyond Colombia is wonderful.

Here's an interesting perspective from my profile access as Guru/Guide: I can see in her profile she has reviewed 9 different tours, and 8 of those reviews are negative (1 one star, 3 two stars including mine, and 4 three stars). One even got an extensive and heated answer from the guide. This poor person only seems to find unsatisfactory walking tours... this poor person seems to have an unsatisfactory life.
