Muchas gracias.

A very interesting tour with great value for money. The host showed us parts of Mexico City we probably wouldn't see by ourselves as tourists. Some interesting stories and special locations. In general we enjoyed the tour very much. And the taco place recommended by Diego is great. Thanks very much.

Excellent tour. Different from the common tourist tour. You find yourself immerse in a Mexican neighborhood outside of the tourist path where you see the simple beauty of an old city area with the contradictions of the best and worst of today Mexican life. Diego’s high knowledge of the streets daily routine and history give you the feeling to be part of a reality you knew from news and books, and you realized here how far from the ordinary is touching this during the two hours tour.

We’ve been to Mexico City several times, and this tour was truly unique among the experiences we’ve had. We got to explore a neighborhood that we knew little about and get a glimpse of “everyday” life in the city. Diego is very personable and a great guide - he shared interesting stories, showed us places we never would have been able to see (or understand the meaning of), and talked about the history and controversy surrounding them. Definitely recommend, particularly if you’ve already seen the main tourist sites and want to dig deeper.

Diego’s walking tour was so interesting, laid back and made us wish we did it on our first day here! He had so many incredible stories of the neighborhood and effortlessly weaved in the greater history of Mexico City. I saw an interesting building with broken stained glass- he knew all about it’s history. I pointed out small details I had been wondering about regarding street vendors- he had a full explanation about that. Food recommendations - he’s got it. Not only is he a walking encyclopedia about Mexico City, but he himself is an interesting person with a varied life. I could have walked around another two hours just listening to stories about his experiences growing up here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
