We had an amazing food tour with Thanh. She showed us the lokal food and we ate it together, that was exactly was we were looking for. She was super kind and even gave us more tips for the city. We can totally recommend this tour.
I had an amazing experience on the food tour with Thanh. We explored Dong Ba Market and sampled delicious Ban beo and various sweets (just because I had already breakfast and I didn't have enough space for anything else). Thanh was incredibly kind, accommodating, and always ready to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Hue ❤️
It's honestly the perfect opportunity to experience the local cuisine. I'm veggie and have allergies but Thanh made sure to visit places in the market, where I could try a lot of stuff. You really feel like she knows the place and at the end she gave me a lot of reccomendations, which are really helpful when you just arrived in Hué. In my opinion this tour is the perfect way to start exploring Hué and to get to know an honest local who will try to answer all of your questions :) Thanks Thanh!
Thanh is wonderful. Kind and charming and full of information. She is open to letting you try anything and helping you figure out what things are. She knows a lot about the market, about Hue, and about food. The food was tasty. Then she took us to a hidden coffee shop above the market that was just lovely. Thanh is working on her English and her degree in tourism, so there is lots of good reason to chat as you go.
A wonderful walk through the market. We saw all the different goods on offer, stopped for some bun bo Hue, and experienced a bit of haggling with the clothes sellers. Thanh brought us along every step of the way and helped translate - then we ended at a great little coffee speakeasy. A great tour!
