Amazing walking tour. We were able to book an hour in advance and basically got a private tour. Dito knows a lot about the city, showed us pictures of notable places so we could see how it looked back in the days and nowadays. He also improvises : we saw some children in traditional costumes and he explained what they were doing and also invited us to see some other children practising traditional dances as he saw a rehearsal on our way. It’s a great way to dive into Malang’s history and get a glimpse of the highlights as well as some more local places. He also recommended us a great restaurant and a very nice vegetarian dish. I recommend this walking tour to everyone who wishes to discover Malang in a small timeframe.

Excellent guided tour with many interesting facts and stories about the local area. Really enjoyed finding out more about the history and the people of Melang as well as good places to eat and drink. Recommendations for ice cream shops as well!
