Visita al mercado de Kariakoo e historia

As we stayed close to his Hostel in Masaki Kibe kindly offered us a ride to the market and back. During the Tour he showed us various parts of the area and introduced us to different local foods and treats including Tanzanian coffee, boaboa seed candy and several fruits. We also went to several fabric shops where we had as much time as we wanted to look around. I would highly recommend Kibe as a guide to anyone who wants to get a glimpse at kariakoo market without getting lost in the crowds.

Kibe is a very reliable person. He was kind enough to drive us himself to the market and explain a bit about it. Later on he helped us find a reliable taxi to take us to the airport. More than a guide, you will find in him a helpful friend in Dar es Salaam. He also runs a beautiful hostel in Misaki Peninsula - if you need something in the city, he’s your man!

Totally recommend this tour. He accommodated the tour to a time that fit me. I got to try lots and lots of nice things in the market and really enjoyed it - definitely wouldn’t have had the same experience on my own. We also went to some other places and it was a lot of fun!

Fantastic tour! You will not be able to see all the market has to offer without Kibe's help! In addition, Kibe provides tons of history, is funny, fills you up on delicious market treats & offers helpful advice for anything you'd like to do afterward in Dar! His English is perfect & he was an absolute joy to spend the afternoon with! Highly recommend this tour!

Absolutely tremendous moment.After the tour i and Erica we planed to go out for nighlife in Dar es salaam .I’ll never regreat that moment was fun and unforgettable. I’m still intouch with she is a good friend not to loose:) Hope to see her again and again.
