The tour was very nice and I loved discovering all those places. Bôn is a great human being and it is lovely to spend time with him. But being a vegetarian we did not have the same explanation of the food and did not really fit in the menu of other people (even though, again, Bôn vas very nice ) I think it could be improve on that matter. And maybe have more talked around everybody culinary habits comparing to Vietnam:)

Pleasant and especially delicious tour with Ruby. Due to a small misunderstanding on our part we were a little late, still very kindly received, the group had been waiting for us. Maybe it was because of our delay but we felt it went very quickly, both the explanations and the next restaurant. The dishes were all very tasty and although the explanations could have been done at a more leisurely pace the information was appropriate and interesting only sometimes difficult to follow due to crowds in the cafe. We didn't sit together as a group the whole time due to limited seating at the eateries so explanations were sometimes missed, but there is little the guide can do about this. The order was good, the route was fun and Ruby is very friendly. Tells not only about food but also other fun facts about the city. We were not aware of the fixed amount of tip expected, this is new to us on a free walking tour. Still, we enjoyed it, thanks!

Tipping is completely optional and not required in any way. Since it was Ruby’s first time leading a free walking tour, there might have been a little uncertainty. We went with Linh and had a great time and ate lots of good food. I was expecting to find out some more history and explanation of how they cook things and where they are from. I think this tour is best for single travellers as you can meet lots of people. Linh was great with my kids but it probably wasn’t as well suited to kids.

Pretty amazing experience, brought us to places I wouldn't visit on my own. It was nice to have someone introducing the food and knowing what was being eaten. Would 100% recommend again!
