As the only free walking tour in Bukhara, I came to it. Hamza definitely covered a lot of areas in Bukhara in the 3 hours of the tour, but I feel like there was more information that could've been shared. I also really didn't like his style. He asked multiple times throughout the tour: "You know what xyz is, yes?" and didn't explain what xyz is. Isn't your job as a tour guide to explain everything with full context? For example, he assumed everyone knew who Genghis Khan is, and when he asked that question, I saw people shake their head. He never explained who they are. He did this multiple times throughout the tour and it was really irritating. I found out during the tour that he's not from Bukhara nor Uzbekistan and is from Pakistan, and he has lived here for 5 years. He didn't make that clear in the beginning, and it sounds like he speaks for Uzbeks. For example, he was saying that in the past, it was standard for people to have families of 16, and now like his parents, they have x number. Well the thing is, his parents are in Pakistan, not here, and it's probably important to make that distinction. Generally, the tour wasn't very engaging nor interesting, and he grazed over a lot of the history.

Thanks for you respons Andrea but guess whay I saw your profile and you have all your reviews in the negative way so what do you think what is a free walking tour ? Just see that some where and next thing how much did you paid should I write it here ? You talk but do you pay that much so you can talk this much ? And the rest I am a licensed guide im Bukhara it doesn't matter what part of the world I am from as you are Chinese living in USA you might had racism all you life but don't give it to other people now if I say you know this and you say yes so it's means you know that thing right I don't have to explian or are you some what dumb who doesn't know the difference between yess and no ? And I explain you in central Asia thats commen to have more children but why am I explaining again if you are dumb who can't speak or understand English and leaves a comment because that's all losers can do it doesn't matter for me if I get a bad review or good I am doing good work by helping people on free walks otherwise you can search much does it cost on get your guide or tripadvisor for a tour in Bukhara Thanks for wasting your time in writing a negative note and wasting my too to write it back to you
