Don't book the evening tour, I think it's just a waste. Too much crowd everywhere and the guide is boring too. Just takes down to 2-3 places and finishes in 1 hour.

I sent a message to the guide 15 minutes before the start time, saying I'd be 5 minutes late. (Rushed from Civitavechia after overnight ferry.) I arrived at 4 past, and there was no group in sight. I searched the next stops in the description for 40 minutes, but never saw the "red flag with 'best free tours'". I think this was inconsiderate of the guide; if it were me, I would have checked my roster and messages if someone didn't show up, and at least waited till 5 past either way!!

We had a full group gathered at the meeting spot for a tour, and our guide was a no show who did not answer messages or provide any explanation.
