You sent a message much later that you were late, but the tour was already in the Jewish quarter then so the guide couldn't do anything. We pay a great attention to run our tours punctually especially in the winter not to keep the rest of the visitors standing and getting frozen while the other participants don't care to be on time. So don't lie about the guide and just admit that you were late and that's why you couldn't join the tour.
