What an amazing tour! We saw so many neighborhood and not just the tourist items. Even got food along the way. Highly recommend!!

What a treat to 1, meet James ..a very bright and intelligent man and 2, find this interesting and immersive walking tour.
We were waiting on another couple so the tour could commence, unfortunately for them they failed to arrive on time. At 5 minutes after the start time we crossed the street to start our tour. We checked across the street for their late arrival but still no-show at 15 minutes later.
I was fascinated with the shopfront houses, first seen when I arrived in the Chinatown area 24 hours prior. Having James guide us with his historical knowledge was awesome; lots of fun facts at every tutor a corner.
He was generous with food/dining out suggestions and other information too.

We thought the tour was excellent & very informative. Wei was very happy & helpful. He was also happy to answer any questions we had even one that weren’t related to the tour. We will recommend guruwalk to our friends.

Eunice was incredibly professional and knowledgable. This is a brilliant tour of the old Malay quarter encompassing food, history, art, religion and culture. Do it if you have time.
