If you are looking for a Guided WALKING Tour this is the one. We did not enter any of the many palaces which Sintra contains ( we weren't meant to ). An excellent Introduction, I would say, to what Sintra 'is about' ( or was about ). And having had that intro. I would expect to return from time to see one or ( at most ) two palaces at a time on the inside. No fault of the Guide, of course, but Sintra at the end of June was ram-packed with tourists. One can understand the local residents saying ' Enough is enough!' I don't know whether it might be better to visit in spring or autumn months ( or maybe winter, if well wrapped and with an umbrella ). But Katerina had excellent knowledge of Portuguese history in general, which she integrated into the information about particular aspects of Kings and Queens and so on.
