Fernando was absolutely spectacular. He is so knowledgable about the history as well as all of the wonderful activities and food that Merida has to offer. We have been on many tours and Fernando is the best of the best. He is genuinely friendly, extremely intelligent, and was absolutely Wonderful to have as a guide. He was very considerate to make sure that he always found shaded areas as it got very hot. I highly recommend!
Friendly, always keen to keep us in the shade and often a breeze, top tips on free entry entry places, mixed in with loads of interesting nuggets of history, events, good places to eat. And, while a little bit of a joke, good free public toilets, always super useful. The two hours flew by. Go and see him, it will be worth it! Great to find out more about the area before we explore on our own.
A very informative and entertaining tour. Fernando is full of energy and information, and great fun, passing on huge amounts of information, local knowledge and tips in a digestible and fascinating way. A great introduction and asset to Mérida.
