Thank you Andra for this wonderful tour. It provided a very good overview of the city's history. It's always great when tour guides are excited about the content they are sharing and that was definitely the case here 😊
We enjoyed the tour and to see a lot of interesting places. It was nice to get a glimpse of the history of Serbian dynasties and the ottoman and roman empires. Regarding the history of the 90s were were rather disappointed. There are obviously many different sides to past and present conflicts in Jugoslawia and between the countries of present day in the Balkans. The bombings in Belgrade were horrible and many innocent people died. However, it would be important to mention that Milošević's politics and war against minorities in the 90s were a crucial point why Serbia was attacked in the first place. Let's not forget that he was convicted in the Hague for his crimes. Simply not to mention this is creating a very one sided picture here. Just be prepared to maybe not get to know this side of the picture.
