We were pleasantly surprised at how good the tour was. When booking ‘free’ tours, you never know. We were nervous when we arrived 10 mins early and nobody was there but Diego showed up a few mins before the tour was to start. Note, he is a very fast walker and as someone in my 60’s, I did have a hard time keeping up with him for the first half of the trip. Then I realized he was trying to get us to a particular market to try some food and then he slowed down a bit. We tried lots of different traditional foods and he pointed out various fruits and veggies you could only find here. All food we tasted was very good esp the corn cake and soup. We spent only about 9,000 CLP for two for all the food we tasted and we were quite full. Just missed having a sweet stop for a traditional dessert. W would recommend the tour
