Generally a good tour. The fluency of English spoken was a plus. Most of the information was rendered in a manner that allows the history to seem intimate.
It was well prepared, and the walk was conducted in a manner which is not too taxing. The only issue is the conducted tour ended 1.5 hrs instead of the described 2.5 hrs. Do change it as we have structured our activities back to back using the information provided by the Guruwalk's details.
We were with Fulvia on our 1st day in Naples. Rushing down we were excited about the food tour. As a really small group of 4 inclusive of guide. We expected a warm, intimate, well paced affair. Which it somewhat was. Samples of food from baked, fried, to mozzarella was provided. When we ended the tour, we looked forward to having all the inside information for the rest of your food trip in Naples. Our guide Fulvia promised to send that evening. We are now at our 2nd last night and no information was forthcoming. It was disappointing to say the least.
It wasn't a bad walk. It did needed to ratchet up the energy level. We felt talked to instead of talking with. A rally between the hosts and the walkers would allow a generation of spontaneity. Even though it's a subjective feedback. We have through the years been on more then 12 Guruwalks and there has been a spectrum of mediocre to laugh out loud engagements. This falls less then the medium.
