Hola mi nombre es Kevin. Soy un sargento de policía jubilado, también tengo experiencia trabajando en el sistema de justicia penal en los tribunales combinados y de familia de Sheffield. Como oficial de policía, pasé varios años 'golpeando el ritmo' en el centro de la ciudad de Sheffield. También trabajé como sargento de turno y custodia. Me fascinó la historia de las personas y los lugares de Sheffield, especialmente el lado más "oscuro" de esa historia. He organizado free tours para mis colegas en las canchas y ahora que me he retirado por completo he diseñado este recorrido. Soy un 'sheffielder' nacido y criado, un amante de Guinness y un apasionado seguidor de Sheffield Wednesday. Kevin was a brilliant tour guide, so knowledgeable and had some great personal stories to add to the mix. A great couple of hours learning about history and gang wars, which I knew nothing about. Was a great way to get a different perspective of the city. Highly recommend a tour with Kevin ☺️
I guess every city has its dark periods....it was interesting to hear about the criminals and how human nature works....with kevin having been a police officer he would have first hand experience about law breakers which would prove to be important in relating to Sheffield's dark history!.... would definitely recommend this tour
not your average walking tour! very informative and knowledgable about historic gangs and police incidents in Sheffield. The tales were interwoven and told very well. The scenes were set well and were interesting. Kevins passion for his previous job and his city were evident. would recommend for anyone with an interest in historic crime. thank you
Amazing, we have lived here for so long yet Kevin showed us things that we didn't even know were there, we probably walked past 100 times without realising. His knowledge of Sheffield was outstanding and he was able to impart this in an easy to understand, informative way. The size of the group (5) made it informal and enabled people to ask questions en route, We would recommend this trip.
Really enjoyed our walking tour today with Kevin…. Found it very interesting and it gave you a sense of what Sheffield was like at different times in its history ……
