Mi nombre es Juan Villegas, peruano apasionado por la lectura y viajero de corazón. El 2017 decidí crear el colectivo cultural RIMAQ para mostrar el centro histórico de Lima y el Rímac de una manera auténtica y local. Soy guía turístico oficial del Perú y licenciado en administración de turismo de la UNMSM. Me encanta la literatura y mostrar la historia y el presente de mi ciudad capital, Lima. Juan is a warm-hearted person with amazing stories and knowledge to share. I highly recommend the tour to get to learn the history of Lima in an entertaining and interactive way. I would definitely go for his tour again in other neighborhoods as well.
This was a really fun tour!! It ended up only being myself and my husband and we were surprised that our tour was private. Juan was so informative and really helped us get to know the history and culture of the city. It was interesting to learn about the historical/cultural/political development of the city and how this related back to the 3 different churches saints and also the heritage still represented. We also managed to sample some different styles of pisco. Juan was also great at asking us if we wanted photos. As we aren't really that into photos of ourselves, he didn't push. He was also keen to know what we wanted to learn and focus on during the tour. 5/5!!! Highly recommend!!
