Dan is a guru in Stockholm’s history out in the streets of Gamla Stan. He is a real local and enthusiastic about the details that shaped Stockholm over last 500 years — and he is able to tell this story in an entertaining manner. He was kindly doing the tour in Swedish for us, answering even tricky questions and showed us several hidden places. Highly recommend tour for those who want to take a deeper look behind the scenes of the obvious.

Dan was extremely knowledgable, he emersed us in the rich history of Stockholm, keeping the tour interactive and engaging, despite it only being 2 of us on the tour and it raining on and off throughout! Dan battled on letting us know that in Sweden "there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes!" We learnt a lot and were appreciative of Dan efforts. A few highlights including seeing a seal swimming by Parliament and having the secret service everywhere due to the Nordic Council being in town!
