We treated ourselves to a private full-day “GuruWalk” tour with Dhanabalam in Madurai. We began at the local vegetable market, continued through the wholesale banana market and the famous Murugan Temple, and finished at the vibrant flower market. We were truly impressed and learned so much about the religions, culture, and history of Tamil Nadu. Because of the heat, we were glad to combine taxi rides with walking. Without our guide’s professionalism, we would never have experienced Madurai in such a meaningful way. It’s an absolute must! 😎🙏🥰☺️

Dhanabalan was a passionate and knowledgeable guide. It was very interesting to hear him explain about the various temple rituals, Thiruvalluvur and the differ aspects of Tamil history.
