Dinna was a great guide with a sense of humour and shared a lot of cultural and contextual info which helped us understand China better! She was also fun and humourous, and was great to learn history of various places better. Highly recommended!
The tour with Michael was so insightful, with the history and context giving the key happenings over 400 years so much more colour and helped with the understanding of what transpired over centuries leading to where the country is now. Whilst the information is dense and at times, sorrow inducing, it is so incredibly important to have that to truly grasp the history. Highly recommended if you’d like to have a deeper understanding of the country’s history!
It was great doing the Bo-Kaap walking tour as it gave us a great introduction to the neighbourhood and history of the community that makes up Cape Town. The stories make so much of the history alive, and it was seminal walking through the neighbourhood seeing people going about their lives. Highly recommended to join Michael/Bridget on their tours!
