The problem with Guru walking tours is that anyone can be a tour guide and there's no contact number for the "guru." The tour was confirmed so he should be expecting me. I sent messages via the platform and never got a response. I arrived to the meeting point and couldn't see an obvious guide or any attempt to be contacted by the guide. It would be good to learn more about the history of the place but it's impossible when people waste your time and don't show up for confirmed meetibgs. Wouldn't bother booking with Diego!
Tour is recommended to experience a variety of fruits. They were really tasty. He was open to questioning. Guide is open to feedback on how to improve so fingers crossed for future participants.
Knowledgeable tour guide who's enthusiastic about his city. Good way to get to know the history in afternoon. Additional entry into buildings I'd expect to be off limits to tourists do worth going. Julian gave extra tips and recommendations which was great and welcomed and was open to being contacted to give more.
Punctual guide, excellent English and a real enthusiasm for the walk. The group was small so we were able to ask plenty of questions and Javier was very knowledgeable in his responses. He gave good food recommendations as well as a detailed but understandable historic lesson of Santa Marta. Highly recommend.
