Adrian was an excellent guide, conducted in English. He is quite educated and gave an amazing tour, indulging me with the current state and past history of the country by pointed out many events, locations, and cultural items of importance . We started in a beautiful, fascinating park and ended up in the center near national buildings, important churches, central markets, and some dining options (the Pulpusa place off the library was fantastic and inexpensive). Of modern interest - don't miss the state-of-the-art library and most beautiful Starbucks in the world along the way. This is a MUST DO - awesome in every way. Travel tip: Include a phone number on your reservation and check your email/phone the morning of and prior to the tour for important updates and communication.
TAKE THIS TOUR! Dave is absolutely incredible...seriously, you need not look for any other walking tours. Dave's energy is amazing- fun and infectious! Very knowledgeable and so passionate about his country! He takes the time to learn everyone's name and makes the tour inclusive and interactive. I highly highly recommend Dave Mendez!!!
