We had an incredible experience on the walking tour with Thanh as our guide. He was warm, knowledgeable, and infused the tour with a great sense of humor, making the whole journey feel engaging and enjoyable. The sites we visited were fascinating, with Thanh providing not only historical facts but also unique insights from a local citizen’s perspective. What truly stood out were the personal stories he shared, which brought the locations to life. For example, the story about the man in the post office gave a human touch to what might otherwise have just been another landmark. Thanh also gave excellent recommendations for places to visit and events to attend. We even ended up booking tickets for the Bamboo Circus later that evening, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience!! A delightful surprise was the mini language class he included, teaching us essential phrases along with the cultural do’s and don’ts. This thoughtful touch really enhanced our understanding of local etiquette and traditions. Overall, Thanh made the tour both informative and deeply personal. Thanh's enthusiasm was infectious. He gave such a wealth of information and insights into the history of Saigon and some of the history, landmarks and lesser known heroes. We really appreciated the language lesson and tips at the end. So helpful for getting our bearings and knowing what to do next. Thank you!!
