Andy looked after the group really well. He was very informative and welcomed most of the questions 😀 He is very knowledgeable and tried his vest to share it with us.
The tour was good and informative but rushed. Instead of 2h it was 1.5h and we didn't visit Placa the Espania
Mary was super fun, although sometimes she could talk a bit more about history. I enjoyed it over all.
I don't know if he a good guide. Probably yes. I was refused the tour when I siad I won't be able to pay 10$. I was going to contribute about $5 as I didn't have any more cash and it was my last day and I was broke. I think it's unprofessional to refuse someone to join. The guy insisted on everyone to be minimum $10. That created unpleasant start for others.
Fantastic tour! I have learnt a lot! Trang answered all my questions with a great knowledge. I truly recommend it. I can see the town in different eyes now. However if you don't want buy a ticket to the attractions you shouldn't go for this tour as most of the talks were inside the UNESCO buildings (we visited at least 5). Also the guides pay about 90.000 doing fee for each tourist therefore they insist on paying them at least 200.000 or more which created awkward situation at the end. Most people paid about 100.000 anyhow. I thing Guruwalk should somehow sort this situation as it's not a free walking tour after all. So in total I spent 160.000 which was totally worth it!
