Good day Elena, we regard you review as unfair. After the initial briefing it was explained to you that when there are less than 8 walkers who have booked, the tour will proceed at a faster pace, due to less people asking questions and wanting to take pictures etc. Your answer to this was, "OK, I understand." Please allow me to remind you of the stops made, . . . (1) Explanations about the origins of the site (2) How a prison was converted into a hotel (3) The man made canal ways, where it leads to the water taxi system and the lock (4) the marina where brand new private craft are being completed before delivery (5) the platform where the seals hang out (6) the section where racing yachts berth during round the world races (7) the Alfred basin (8) the dry dock (9) the Food Market (10) the Nobel Peace prize recipients (11) a section where the pleasure boats berth (12) where warehouses were repurposed into a hotel (13) the Robben Island ferry terminal (14) the swing bridge operation (15) the giant curios and artwork (16) I then showed you the South African Polar research vessel (17) showed you a super yacht that was in the process of being moved from one berth to another (18) I then mentioned the various restaurants to choose from, and you at this point chose to then detailed how you were not impressed with a particular one we were passing. That is when I thought, wait a minute, this lady sounds like a knit picker. That is when I made a point of asking you, "Are you enjoying my tour so far?" Your answer was: "Yes" I then asked you, "How are you finding the information thus far?" Your answer was, "It's interesting". (19) I then showed you the sea rescue station (20) after which we visited another building which is undergoing construction and how it will be repurposed (21) we then visited to main section where most of the pleasure boats are berthed (22) then on to the Victoria basin showing you where various vessels are berthed, including to fish terminal (23) I continued to describe more buildings including restaurants, retail and pubs. Including where boat and helicopter tours can be booked. (24) we finished at the center of the complex where I thanked you for booking the tour with me. I again asked you whether you found the tour enjoyable and interesting, and whether you found that you have learnt a useful information. Your answer was "Yes, I did" (25) Based on your answer, I kindly asked you to please post a review, reflecting your experience. (26) We then parted ways (27) It is thus with great surprise that I read your review. (28) We base our tours on detailed information, genuine facts and honesty, and it is with immense regret that we notice this review which is based on the opposite. Especially since you were the only one who had made a booking, meaning that you actually were given a private tour. We can not speculate the reasons as to why you would write such an outplaced review, however, we do hope that you will enjoy the rest of your stay.
