A very long walk and arguably not enough information or facts to support the walk. Would have liked to have learned more about recent history, NATO bombed building, culture of Serbian life as opposed to seeing primary schools and learning the alphabet.
Tour unfortunately did not have a lot of information on Hitler and his presence in Austria. There were plenty of stops which was good and the tour guide was very informative but we wanted to learn more about Hitler's life and the impact of WWI and WWII in this tour. Given the group size, it would have been preferred that the guide had a mic. Overall, Josef was informative on Austrian history, very friendly and the tour skewed more to Austria in general.
The guide didn't respond to messages after confirming weeks ago that the tour would go ahead. After checking in again on the day, we received no response. Arrived at the agreed meeting point and he didn't show up. Also didn't provide any explanations or any response to my messages. Very poor and disappointing
This walking tour is honestly one of the best we’ve been on and well worth the visit. Villefranche-sur-Mer was a quaint town with a lot of characteristic, charm and picturesque views overlooking the port. Jenny was able to showcase all the best parts of the town in a very fun and interactive way which kept the group enagaged. She was very attentive to all tour members and genuinely made the effort to get to know everyone. Her passion and love for the town really showed throughout the whole tour. Highly recommend.
