Gus was warm and informative host. He walked us slowly through Nara starting at a covered market before taking us to the main buddhist temples Kofuku-ji and Todai-ji temple complexes by way of Nara park and those …oh so cute.. deer 🦌. Oliver gave us a really interesting look at Shinjuku from the perspective of its undercurrent! Sure we did climb the Metropolitan building observatory for a fantastic view, visit a Shrine and see the most obvious sights , the hustle & bustle of Tokyo but.. the definite highlight was what he showed next ! With a commentary about the Japanese home/ work balance, Karaoke and the drinking culture, what came next was totally unexpected! The host concept..yes go ahead & you’ll find out ..!
