There was a great deal of very interesting history in a confined and very walkable area. Anna knew her stuff and brought humour to a captivated group of walkers. I thought I'd researched it well and she covered everything I found but without a guide I probably wouldn't have found them. They certainly wouldn't have been as interesting just as bricks and mortar without the quirky stories behind them
