I have been a tour guide in Barcelona for 7 years. I am passionate about history, writing and art. I love to transport people to other times and realities through story telling. Their faces of amazement and joy are like fuel for me.
Did a couple of Guru tours during my stay in Barcelona and so glad I did. Gothic Quarter by night with Paulo was great, it was just me and I can't thank him enough to still go ahead and take me around this beautiful part of the city. It was super interesting and complimented perfectly the other tour I did. Paulo is very knowledgeable and passionate, it was a pleasure to stroll about listening to the history and lore as the night was setting in. Thanks again Paulo, would highly recommend this tour!
Peter was a great guide. We enjoyed learning about the history of Barcelona and seeing how beautiful the historical sights were at night.
Thanks for a fantastic night tour Aiden....he may be Irish but don't let that fool....he is an awesome tour guide and really helped us to understand the gothic quarter and it's history so much better. We went back to visit the 13 geese the next day btw. Thanks again from Denise and Fabian from Newfoundland Canada....top marks for this guide and his tour.
I am confused. I have received email confirmation on my booking. I arrived at the meeting point 10mins before 6.30pm (in front of Hard Rock Cafe at Pl Catalunya) but see no one with green umbrella. I asked a lady sitting at the cafe stairs in case she’s part of the tour group, but she is not. I have messaged Paolo, the tour organiser, twice informing about my arrival and another text to ask if this is still happening. And I never got a reply. I waited until 6.44pm or something, and decided to left replan my night. I could have booked another tour :( Paolo, if you had emergency or unforeseen circumstances, that would be understandable, but if it’s otherwise, an advanced notice on cancellation is expected.
