This tour was a great way to explore Budva’s Old Town, learning about the city’s history and archaeological sites. While Miljan's English could be a bit difficult to understand at times, we could really feel his love for his city and its archaeological heritage. The only thing we felt was missing was more information about Montenegro’s relationship with its neighboring countries, such as the separation from Serbia and the conflict with Bosnia and Herzegovina—it would have been interesting to hear the Montenegrin perspective. These are just suggestions, though. Overall, the tour was good, and we really appreciate that Miljan didn’t cancel it, even though we were the only ones there. Thank you for a lovely morning, Miljan!

Dear Julieta, thank you for your kind words. I must point out that it was a huge pleasure to take my time for you even though there were only two of you—the tour was fantastic. Although I rarely respond to reviews, I decided to do so this time for the sake of my future participants. As for the stories about the separation from Serbia and the conflicts that occurred in the region in the 1990s, these are topics that are not covered by the previously explained (in detail) 14 points of the route, which are very far from what you stated in terms of topic and time frame. Budva is an ancient city whose cultural heritage is precious and very far from the end of the 20th century, especially when it comes to war events – still, I'm sure that someone somewhere in the Balkans offers such thematic tours. In any case, thank you very much for the suggestion! Of course, if asked, I won't have any problems offering my personal and humble opinion on the desired topics during (or at the end of) my tour, but again - I have a limitation here too, because I was born when the mentioned things were happening and I didn't experience them as an adult, so my opinion/experience wouldn’t be complete. Thank you once again for the fair review and have a nice day.

Our guide delivered an informative, entertaining, and moving walking tour. A local born in Mostar who grew up during the war, she possesses a wealth of knowledge and shared it in an engaging and accessible way. However, the one area for improvement was the size of the group—there were over 30 people. Splitting the group between two guides would have been better, as the large size made it difficult at times to hear her, and some people even got lost when moving from one location to another. Additionally, the guide allowed people who hadn’t booked in advance to join, which increased the group size beyond the original plan. Providing the guide with a microphone and speaker would also be helpful, as it was sometimes hard to hear her over the bustling city streets and the sound of the mosques. While these issues were likely due to the busy summer season, addressing them could enhance the experience for future participants.
