This Tour & its Guide seems to be quite a scam. He confirmed the Tour on the day of booking the Tour. Reach the designated location on the day of the Tour; send a few messages about me waiting at the designated spot & time. Despite a few reminders and waiting for 20-25 minutes, there was no response. We received a reply late in the evening that he had cancelled the Morning Tour and skipped informing us, saying it did not show on his end that we had booked a tour with him. It is quite a waste of time and inconvenience. Such behaviour & conduct should be discouraged by GuruWalk. Another reviewer also highlighted such an incident.

I think to say that this is a scam is abit too harsh dont you think?? This is a free walking tour by the way there is no payment deposit involved here at all. It is a FREE TOUR. On the other hand, we had apologized and explained our genuine reason, There is a minimum requirement of 4 persons to operate such a tour, because we did not have the numbers I cancelled the tour a day before your tour date, that is normal procedure from my end as a host. My question is WHY you did not receive the cancelation notification? I've checked with GURUWALK unfortunately there is no feedback. And as for the other guest that you claim shared the same concern, that guest did not show up as well for the tour, her/his taxi driver dropped them off at a different location at another shopping centre, so to collect commission. So you see here the feeling is mutual. Again I do apologize for the inconvenience caused to you - but this is not a scam!

Terrible guru guide did not show up at all was there 10 mins before the time and waited another 20min s. No call No message but asked me to review🤦🏽‍♀️

Hello Caroline, I'm surprised off this message. Can you let me know which date was your booking? Also let me know when you made your inquiry? I do not have any information of your inquiry in the system. Also note GuruWalk releases an automated message requesting a review for your experience. I'm sure there has to be a reason behind this unfortunate incident and do apologize for any inconvenience, but I would like to get to the bottom of this to avoid future incidents such as yours. There were couple of no shows as well during the month of Oct. Yesterday's bookings clients were dropped off at a different location at Jack's Handicraft Nadi town instead of our allocated meeting which is Prouds Shopping Complex at Nadi town. The reason why taxi drivers do this is because they get a small commission when they drop off clients at the front of Jacks Handicraft shopping centre, Probably which I believe happened in your case.
