Free walking tour durch Durres

We spent nice morning in Durres with Franco. He confirmed the tour an evening before and also ask us to confirm it an hour before. We were quite in rush to catch the bus to Tirana at 12:30 and Franco offered that we can leave our backpacks in his car during the tour and even gave us a lift to the bus station after the tour, very kind from him. We have seen amphitheatre, roman baths and forum excavation, pass by mosque and climbed hill with Durres Tower with a nice views over the Durres. Franco is very knowledgeable, certified guide, with excellent English. I can highly recommend this tour with Franco.

You will pass by some of old Durres' most stunning landmarks along the trip, all set in a contemporary setting. I showed up at 10 min before 10 am. And there was not anybody to be seen. I am disappointed, as I moved around my working meetings so I could make this tour.

The tour was cancelled 5 minutes after it was due to start and well over an hour after I had messaged the host and received no reply. Very disappointed as host didn’t have the courtesy to let us know in advance and we were waiting around for 15 minutes.
