I don't recommend booking this trip. The tour guide never showed up and didn't respond to any of my messages. After 15 mins, I gave up and explored on my own.

We were at the Merced church 1:58pm and there was no group tour. I asked people about the guru tour and one man said it was 3pm, I ended up paying $25 for a tour.

Alfredo was awesome: excellent English, well informed and has extensive knowledge about Antigua and Guatemala in general. Highly recommend!
