After a short walk our guide suggested taking us some other places, which made the day even better. The added price of thr a/c car was very reasonable. Dhanabalan is knowledgeable, friendly, a d professional. We highly recommend taking a tour with him.

We met at 9 and spent two hours in Meenakshi Temple and two hours at the banana market and going to the flower market on the edge of the city. Dhanabalan was a fabulous guide. His English is excellent and he conveyed so much fascinating information about the temple, pointing out numerous things that I would never have noticed. He helped with smooth deposit of rucksack, shoes and phone at 3 different counters and the frisking ( they take security very seriously) then steered me round the temple carefully choosing places to sit or keep out of the sun. He was willing to answer questions about absolutely anything and was very knowledgeable. Although you can't take photos, he kindly sent me some afterwards. The two markets were wonderful, with no problem taking photos, and Dhanabalan bought different bananas for me to try and a garland to wear at the flower market. This was such a good tour and has completely made Madurai worthwhile. Don't hesitate to contact Dhanabalan to arrange whatever you want as he is very flexible. FIVE STARS!!

We went on a tour with Dhanabalan and it was an amazing experience. He provided all the information to understand the context and connectivity of Indian culture and rituals. His hospitality was very wide,he took care of everything on the tour, so we did not have to worry (e.g.pickup at the hotel and food). He also recomended good places to eat. We would highly reccomend him as a tour guide!
