We adored our guide, Maria, and would have happily eaten poison if she recommended it. But the tour did not sufficiently delve into the various FOODs offered in the 3 carefully chosen and distinctive markets. We did get a social history of each market but not the "feel" of each market. In the most unique (for Vienna) market, we did not taste any food typical of the immigrant populations. We did have a delicious Viennese delicacy but a Turkish bureka or smelling/tasting non-Austrian spices/herbs would have been better.
