Make sure you have cash! At the beginning of the tour, the guide told us that the typical tip is 20 per person (in my experience it was not worth that much), and when my friends and I went to withdraw cash at the end the guide was very rude and hostile, forcing 2 people to stay so we don't leave without paying. The tour was fine and informative, but the paying aspect was a big downside. I would recommend the tour for its material, but if you are looking for a free walking tour, this is not the one.

Somehow got „forced“ to donate even though it is a FREE walking tour. After all I donated 20€, she took the money out of my hand without looking or saying at least thank you. It‘s sad how less appreciation came from her. Recommend the tour but definitely with another more enthusiastic guide.

Hi Patrick. As any other free tour at the end you must pay your guide according to your satisfaction. A Free tour doesn’t mean “free” like in you don’t pay anything. It means you’re FREE to decide how much the tour was worth for you. We’re more than certain that no one forced you to pay anything. The guides usually give a suggestion to orientate the people like yourself, that think that free means you’re not paying. We’re sorry you feel that way, however the free tour system has been around for almost 20 years now and some people still don’t know how it works. Good coverage of the Gothic area, A littke disorienting as it was difficult ti find our wag home. Adequate for an overall tour info package, but would prefer a little less personal political issues from our tour guide.
