KOSTENLOSE WANDERTOUR PLAYA DEL CARMEN

Honestly the idea of a walking tour is great, but from my experience with this particular tour, It was only 45 min long instead of the 1h 30m on the website. The tour guide only had 4 stops and at each stop they pressure you to buy something you don’t need. And at the end of the mini tour they ask for 200 pesos or more as a tip which is super ridiculous as the tour is not that great and you can honestly do it on your own and have way more fun, and actually get to know the city better.

My husband and I were going on this tour. We have been to Playa del Carmen many times but have really never seen the “real” Playa. So I decided to book this tour we showed up at the correct meeting place at 4:50 pm. Looked for the pink umbrella and we never saw a person. We waited until 5:20 pm and then took a taxi back to our hotel. We were very disappointed. I have used Guru all over the world and never had a problem. First time. I don’t understand what happened. I will be using Guru in India in April. Hopefully I will not have any problems.
