The tour was really interesting. The guide knows a lot of things and showed us much of the city center. However, it was sometimes really hard to understand when he was talking because of his very thick accent, and he didn't liked to repeat himself.
Antwort von GuruIt is very strange to read that I did not want to repeat. You did not ask me to repeat. As for accent.... We all have accent. You too. My speech is understandable. It is the opinion of native English speaking people.

It was our first guru walk. Thank you for organizing these. Better English needed

We were quite disappointed with the tour. Although we are native english speakers, it was often extremely hard to understand Murad. The itinerary was also disappointing: we stayed for a long time in the beginning in the main plaza without moving while he explained details about buildings and sites in other points of the city, many of which we did not end up seeing. We would have preferred relevant information on the spot of things we could actually see - we pointed this out in the tour, but he did not oblige, considering that we were only 4 people. Furthermore, he was quite inflexible, when, for example, asking to see a monument in more detail. Overall, we got completely disengaged. It is difficult to understand how GuruWalk, which we often use in our travels, persist in offering a tour with such low rating and unqualified guide.
Antwort von GuruYou came to my tour 2 months ago and I showed you 30 buildings, 23 sightseeing, told history of Trieste and Jews in Trieste, showed 8 cafes including historic ones.do you think it was too few for 1,5 hrs?As for knowledge of English...all native speakers before and after you were pleased. It is very interesting to read a comment, you were waiting for 2 months...Perhaps you tried to find words to write as bad as possible. And about qualification. I am a qualified guide with an international licence. I think you are not professional to judge my qualification.
