Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review. Ali couldn't make it for the tour and send a friend instead without letting us know about it. Just write a short message. His friend was very nice, would have a drink with him any time, but he was no tour guide and gave only very little information.

We booked an English tour with carlotta or Ali based on the reviews. The tour was supposed to start at 4. A guy named Yasir showed up 40 mins past 4. He said he is covering up for his friends and does tours in English. Giving him the benefit of doubt, we started the tour. Yasir came across very pleasant as a person bug offered very little as a guide. He didn’t speak a lot, ans quietly walked us the streets of the beautiful city of Chefchaouen. He did try to answer our questions when we asked him but it didn’t seem like he was a professional guide, more of a shy local. After an hour into the tour we tried to tell him that the this is not working for us and having considered the overall experience offered him 50 dirhams to which he said we HAVE TO pay him atleast 200dirhams and won’t let it go. I have done various tours across different city’s with guruwalk and this was the most unsatisfactory experience. I booked the tour to have a good time, learn about the culture and the city based on the reviews but we didn’t get the person advertised.
